  • SA New water cooled VW woner- sort of...

Hi there. First time poster on this web site.

    Currently own:
    2008 MK 5 TDI 2.0 DSG Golf
    1990 MK 2 GTi Golf
    1991 Audi 80 2.0
+ a couple of air cooled VW's and other good stuff.

Looking forward to tidying up the GTi as my daily driver. It's got 150k on the clock, and over all very tidy car (good for daily duties). First thing to do will to remove the Japanese alloys and find some appropriate wheels for it (German). Otherwise it's all good.

Thanks chaps. Good to be on board. Although I haven't bothered with the water cooled stuff much now I think about it, I have now had:
1979 VW Jetta, 1997 VW golf, 1994 T4 Transporter, 2003 T4 Transporter, 2008 TDI Golf, 1991 Audi 80 and the 1990 GTi Golf. Amazing how many when you add them up!! 7 water cooled VW's is a good number. How many air cooled? 31...
Already loving the old GTi. Not as cool as a MK 1, but a good little car all the same. Looking forward to bouncing stupid questions off you all and mainataining the car in it's current very good condition. Thanks again.
