Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi All,

    By way of introduction, I came across this forum via Arctra, who was jointly posting on the Mytiguan forum which lately has gone a bit quiet. I've also noticed three other names I know from there - Hi, AlanTig, NZTiguan and Duncan - but there may well be more.

    But some dude from NSW has pinched my pseudonym - jjj - so I had to come up with a new one. I'm keen to know what JJJ - if they are indeed initials - could stand for in "Aussie", as they are from Dutch origin in my case.

    I had thought that by now I would be driving a Freelander 2 due to the unsatisfactory offroad performance of the Tiguan - let me hasten to add, relative to MY interpretation of the glossy info available at the time of purchase - but this seems to be a very long goodbye, 47000km to date.

    Hey mate, welcome aboard. Yeah, there are a few Tig owners on both this forum and MyTiguan forum. It's good to have you on board. You'll have a few guys here envious that you have the Track & Field Tig as we don't get it here in Aus, but then again, there aren't that many of us that actually do (or intend to) take our Tig's offroad. Glad you've joined.
