WA: Having to wait is a pain in the A**.

Hi All,

Just to introduce myself. I am Pete, live n Perth, and have a carbon steel mk6 GTI on its way. However I have to wait until the beginning of June. My car (a yaris) got written off in the big storm due to hail damage, so thought I would have a little bit of an upgrade. Going against the grain, I am getting a manual with only a handful of options such as RVC, 18 inch alloys, and a tint.

Definitely Gareth.... I actually wanted them to delcare it a write off so I could get something new.... I dropped some subtle hints such as asking them blatantly if they could.. hahah. I was actually ready to buy an R32 but the dealer went and sold it on me while I was sorting out novated leasing stuff... bastard!! But the new golf is fantastic. I haven't actually driven the manual yet cause the dealer only had DSG but from what I've read the manual is the way to go if you want the true driving experience with gears and all.
