Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW hi - BBS fan

Hi, Im joining up the forums to meet follow BBS wheels whores in Australia....from my experience, VW owners are pretty mad about these wheels o/s.

Anyways, I have 2.5 sets of BBS wheels and looking for local supply (private and commercial) of BBS RS parts. The classic wheel has been out of production in Europe for years, but theres heaps of parts floating around, and Im hoping to source some here in Oz.

I own a 3 door Ford Sierra Cosworth, but certainly a VW fan as well (looove the Dahlback VWs).

    Welcome mate.

There's a number of BBS whores on here.. Who rare their heads quite often. Sierra RS 500? I'm envious!

thanks for the welcome, and yes my ride is a 1986 Sierra Cosworth, where they made 5000 of them. the rs500 is the holomogation model of it, they both look very similar. About 98% of my car has been changed or uprated, which is sacrilege for the purists!
