VIC Just put an order in for an Octavia

I was just about to buy a Hyundai i30, and someone suggested i have a look at a Skoda, so after i had already arranged finance, but not signed anything, I did.

Sat in an Octavia, fired it up, and well, here I am.

Expecting delivery in 2 - 3 weeks of a silver Octavia 2.0 TDI DSG liftback.

My first non-asian built vehicle ever, and I am quite looking forward to it.

Thought I would search local forums for Skoda, and it seems here is the go.

Excitement is building, waiting out the delivery time is going to make time slow down.

I had an Octavia for a day when my GTI was getting serviced and I was impressed with the quality. Its a wonder so many people stick with rubbish like Fords and Holdens with cars like this out there!

looks like its going to be a black one instead. Dealer called me up and pushed a showroom floor one onto me, with an offer i ended up not refusing. Black instead, and a week or 2 earlier. Should have it by next weekend.
