    Vic New VW Jetta 77TDI
    Hi All
Well after the hail storm before Easter, my little Holden Astra was Total Loss. It was time for a new car. Ended up getting a new VW 77TDI Jetta manual Oct09 plate, the poverty version. Need to get used to diesel engine. Very happy with the mileage though. Having gleaned these pages “running in” the diesel engine. The Jetta has given me 870kl with 45lt diesel, for the first fill.

        Gongratulations on the new Jetta.

I also had a Holden Astra, which was replaced by a Jetta, and the Jetta is a huge upgrade.

I am very upset,as my Jetta was a total loss in the hail storm, and the insurance company are taking it from me on Friday.

I will miss it,want another Jetta, and may wait for the 2011 model.

          Thanx Anthony
We actually lost two Astra's with the Hail storm. Mine CDI leather 2 door manual, loved that car. I never thought that I'be owning a VW. Well now trying to learn the terminology/language spoken here.

I had a much earlier Astra,a late 2000 Olympic edition sedan.
Did not warm to the newer AH models, prefered the look of the TS models.
I think in build quality and finish, the Jetta is an upgrade for you too.
            SNJOY ENJOY ENJOY.
