Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC Getting my CC soon!!

    Hi All,

Just a quick note to introduce myself - Steve is my name and I'mm due to pick up my (near) new CC diesel on Friday.

What can I say - I test drove the car and fell instantly in love!!

My background is the automotive industry and I can honestly this car (I hope) offers the best bang for your buck I have seen in a long time. The build quality, features, and driving pleasure have blown me away. This is my first VW and I'm hoping this will be my first of many.

All up, it's cost me just under $48k, with SatNav and RVC, Park Assist, Climate Seats, and Active Cruise - if you're lucky, you couldn't get a BMW 320i for anything less than $60k, and this is twice the car! I just hope it stands the test of time!!

Would really welcome any feedback forum members have on this car, and look forward to being an active member of this network.

    Cheers,

    Steve

Hi and welcome, you're lucky to be getting such a beautiful car. What interior/exterior colours did you choose?

Also, did I read that right? Under $48k? That's a steal!! You're lucky to get any car with those sort of features and design for flat out under $55k!

Thanks Maca - $48k is a good deal but it is just under a year old so not brand new. The colours are black with black interior. So I'd better stock up on the car shampoo and polish - I'll be spending most of my time cleaning it!

        Nice ride.
I always liked the look of the CC, classy but not overly flashy.

That is a pretty wicked price as well

Thanks Team_v - you're right; I think they've nailed this one. Even at its new car price point I don't think there's a lot out there that competes at the moment.
