Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC Hi

Hi I'm bryan, currently have a Honda city turbo as a daily and a Nissan s14 as my fun/track car.

Looking at sellin the city and picking up a mk1 or 3 as a new daily!

See you round if/when I buy one

welcome alone, a mk3 or if you can find a mk2 gti would be a nice daily drive...to find a nice mk1 may cost you abit.

Thanks, I'm not too fussed. A mk2 would be fine too, would my budget of ~5k get me something decent In terms of a daily?

So I'm back.. never ended up getting a Golf! Had a bunch of other cars in between, and am now strongly leaning towards a 9n3 Polo GTI! Let me know if you're selling in melbourne
