Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

The Jetta 1 and 2 were never sold in Australia,although I have seen a couple of A1 models over the years,and beleive a few A2 models have been brought in,although I have never seen one.
The Jetta 3 was called the Vento,and the Jetta 4 was called the Bora,and was sold with a little bit of success here.
The Jetta 5 has been a big hit ,and is the current model,which is proudly called Jetta,as it should have always been.
I beleive the A6 will also be called Jetta next year locally. -
Hey dude, welcome to the forum. What you have is something really scarce here, post some pics up. There's alot of info on the forum already with styling and performance for your 8v. Have a browse.
