Your not the only one interested in the World Car of the Year 2010 with this engine option, I am to but am also interested in the Amarok pickup so I've decided I will make a decision by my birthday in June 2011.
I was thinking 1.2TSI over the TDI because I feel you only get the real benefits doing lond distance driving which I don't do enough of.

While the tdi has a heap more torque, i dont like how rough the small diesels are + they cost more to buy. Swapping from my 180sx will be tough but going from 13l/100km to 6l/100km will probably be worth it as i will be driving 25000km per year from June.
