Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW hey hey

    G'day all, live in sydney, i recently got a 1999 golf GTI mk4, it's painted black and has some dents and scratches.

    i've already ordered some replacement globes for the headlights.
    i'm going to be looking for info on suspension (coil overs), exhaust (extractors, cat and exhaust pipe), cold air intake and air filter options, performance chip and of course thinking about 17 or 18" rims and tyres.

    any advice is welcome, i'm happy to be pointed in the right direction
