NSW New B6 Passat 3.2 4-Motion owner

Hi All,

First timer here. I've owned a VW Passat 2001 B5.5 V6 model for past 6 years.

Last week, I traded that in and bought a Black MY07 B6 Passat V6 4-Motion DSG with MFD2 and Sunroof option.

I haven't picked it up yet but if all goes well, I should pick it up next wednesday. Can't wait..!!!

What Map CD/DVD do you have for your MFD2?
Is it worth upgrading to v16 map?

Whereis Ver. 14 map. Never had a problem!

Okay. I picked up my car this morning. I can clearly say one thing. It's AWESOME.

Love this car. It's lightning fast off lights. Sticks on the road even wet.
Engine note is much louder and more throaty than my old passat.

MFD2 is definitely not one of its highlights although it is sorta useable.
My mobile phone is a better sat nav with newer map, faster and is 3D.

DSG seems to be fine so far. I just need to get used to its logic a bit.
Sport mode is a bit too sporty while Drive is just a bit too conservative.
