  • Hi

    Hi there,

I am currently still over in England but with a possible move to Oz on the cards due to the other half's job in the next couple of months. We currently own between us 2 Polo G40's, 1 original, 1 a conversion I've built myself with friends over the last few months and a Corrado VR6.

This was a rally we did through an area called the peak district for the last two years which we called the G40 rally. They are quite rare over here so we were pleased with the amount of cars we got.

Anyway I was wondering what sort of thing I could expect to pick up out in Oz when I got there. I was out for 6 weeks over christmas and I did see one Mk1 Golf which was near Adelaide Zoo (was a rather tidy example in white) but didnt see many. Are Mk1 and 2 Golfs quite thin on the ground over there?

    Hope you like the motors.

    Cheers

Good quality mk1 and 2's are hard to find, but can be had if you keep an eye out.

I would definitely be bringing the corrado VR6 over as they are rare as hens teeth.

      hey mate

we dont have anywhere NEAR the diversity of Dubs that you guys get. We missed out on alot of mk2/3/4 models. The 6n Polo was the first one that came to Aus!

I'd be bringing a G40 Polo and your VR6 Corrado if you are moving here permanently. Otherwise it's slim pickings for uber cool Dubs.

      Nice rides too btw

VR6s would be common as much in Adelaide if you bring one. There would be 2 here.

        Cheers
