hi, yeh ill be changing the unmodified status,
the first job was to put right years of neglect , the car had been stood for 3 years in a back yard and the sun had perished nearly all the outside rubbers, and the paint was in a sorry state due to the sun,but after a good cut n polish its come good and the perished parts have been replaced curtosy of ebay,
also purchased to get the project on the way - JOM coilovers 80-100mm drop....7x15 front 8x15 rear ATS cup wheels - tyres arriving this week - suffice to say they will have stretch.
smoked rear lights-indicators-side repeters with smoked crosshair headlights, de-badged grill, eyebrow spoiler, pirelli a pillar wind deflectors, electric window kit (front)
lots more parts to come but for now these will keep me busy..
      how can i post pics???

Looks awesome dude! That single headlight grill looks so much better I reckon. You've definately got the right idea, those ATS cups look sick too.

                    hi all,
got the tyres fitted at last, had loads of trouble gettin the fronts 175/50/15
apparently they are an odd size here, but the guys from tech"9"tyres came through and got it sorted...

just need to get the drop right now
                    also yesterday the oilcooler arrived,

                        hi , and thanks
the wheels were found on ebay uk and they were in storage in Athens ,Greece, the guy had 2 sets plus some other very desirable wheels , the 7x15 can still be bought in europe but the 8x15 have long been obsolete, if you look on ebay germany(ebay.de) you will find them...mostly second hand...postage from europe £350 or just under $700. not cheep but you cant get them here...

                              hi all,
not been on for a while.. been a busy few months, mostly waiting for parts for the cab from europe, the final thing to arrive was the interior seat skins from ledervision in germany. these are custom made to original design so fit perfect..cost..just under $500 landed..they use all original fixing points and are well worth the effort to fit, i chose letheret as the climate here will ruin lether in a convertable...
                              before.....

                              after....

also one of the last items on my list was the Kamei bonnet scoop
                              ..
not to everyones taste but again i wanted the euro look from the 80's and this was a popular item back then..also quite hard to find now..

so in all the car has recieved ciolover suspension, ats cup wheels .. retrimmed interior..smoked lights allround.. oil cooler..pirelli a pillar trims.. kamei bonnet scoop.. single headlight grill.. grill spoiler.. exhaust backbox.. electric frint windows..plus loads of original plastic parts that had perished in the sun...
all that is left to do now is put the car over the pits before the german car day overhere in june....
