My name is Jara and I am new to this forum, I have ordered my new MK5 POLO GTI from VW Newcastle. I will be one of the first to have the model in AUS and I look forward to sharing my joy with you all. There is limited info out there but I have a man on the inside and have a large amount of data relating to the model. The MK5 POLO GTI will be Super Charged and Turbo Charged as standard. I look forward to disscussing this with you all.

Yeah, should have DSG and same engine as Mk6 TSI me thinks.

latest info is late this year or early next year, have you heard otherwise?

The MK7 is the 9N_ models. I think you're referring to the MK8 with the 1.4 TSI engines.

Also I didn't think Australia had a release date for the GTI?

Can you order something that far in advance that doesn't have confirmed specs, etc ?

Im pretty sure the specs would be available to those ready for a purchase in the country of origin..

Speaking from experience i can tell you we get the info pretty late for pretty much anything here in Aus.
