Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Looking at a MK6 GTI

    Hi to all

    Used to own a MK5 3 door GTI with DSG. 18 months or so ago traded it in for a BMW 135, but with the arrival of a new baby late last year am now wanting to go back to a four door car. Considering going for a Mk6 GTI or a 2nd hand R32.

    Not sure if I can wait till the R20 comes.
