  • VIC Aftermarket exhaust...

Hi everyone. I'm a new VW driver and loving it. I'v been reading through the threads vigurously and cannot find a conclusion. I want to invest in a performance exhaust for my ,very stock, 3dr '06 Golf GTI. Just something with a little more grunt behind it.

    To my questions...
Will it void my warranty that was granted from the dealer?
    &
Which exhaust (from experience) would be the best sounding?

    Thanks in advance.

Hey mate, if you put a full turbo back exhaust with a high flow cat, you will get a CEL error on your dash. This is normal unless so dont stress when you see it. Exhaust's for these cars are quite pricey.. so be prepared to pay in excess of 2k and up to 3.5k for a brand name such as Miltek or APR.

They sure do. I know a bloke on here with a silver Mk4 GTI had a dump pump done by them and a few others have had work and been very happy.
