    welcome aboard! odd name?

if you want after-market rims, its well worth buying overseas and the range is quite extensive

    check out this crowd

or as a more specific indication http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/resul...ModClar=2-Door

you just need to work out what offset you are chasing.

allow around $200 max for delivery to Perth and as long as you keep the order value under A$1000 then theres no import duty etc

Local support for the 5x112 fitment is quite dissapointing.

Tempetyres do some wheels in this fitment but most other quality wheels will be overseas so ebay/tirerack are your friends.

        definitely try ebay australia.

there are plenty of bargains there to be had regarding second hand audi wheels, which come in much more aggressive widths and offsets.

edit: mercedes wheels will also fit with a hubcentric ring.

example: 5x112 fat fives from an a3/tt

        hope this helps. also welcome!

Welcome to the fold Monster Children!! I reckon you are going to love the VW experience.

If you're after something different for the Golf, I've got some 16s off the Jetta. All in awesome condition (no Kerb rash) and the tyres have about 25-30% tread remaining.

yeah! it's great to be part of this community.. i'll be sending my car in for servicing soon at Golfwagen in WA.. heard some pretty positive feedbacks about that place from friends. Im loving the Golf 5 and am KINDA regretting the decision not to go GTI instead..

reckon parts for the golf would be relatively easier to find in states like melb and sydney eh? got myself some decent headlamp units from melb at a fraction too..

any good garages or workshop i should check out here in WA?

                Cheers.
