Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Normally a little more info is customary, but who am I to judge

Imposter I own a Benz but signed up to absorb some info on wheels sharing a 5 x 112 PCD.

Thanks for the warm welcome though.

Ahh yes, the legendary 5x112. I don't think I've ever had so much trouble finding after market rims, only to go back to using OEM wheels

Hope you find all the info you need, I'm sure we can turn you and make you a Dubber.

Haha yeah I feel your pain in sourcing wheels in that PCD. Yesterday was my lucky day though as I purchased a full set of BBS RS rims for a price no one would believe.

As for being converted to a VW driver. It would be one of these bad boys that does it.

Don't go telling us this amazing price you got your BBS rims for, or you'll be hated before stepping in just pics so we can go green with envy.

It'd be good if someone did up a Mk1, they don't seem to have a following up here like the Mexicans do down south.
