Hi all,

My research led me to the jetta as the car for me, I'm about to buy a 2nd hand one, just not sure what to go for..

I test drove the turbo 2.0 fsi and it was an amazing car, awesome response and feel. I'm a bit worried about getting one of those DSG gearboxes in case they die outside of warranty. Guessing you'd have to take out a 2nd mortgage to fix it.

I haven't driven the tdi or normal fsi. How is the performance on them and do they perform better with a manual or dsg gearbox?

Does anyone know the story about getting extended factory warranty from VW?

Currently driving a 2005 Magna powered by LPG. A good car, never any problems, cheap to run and totally underrated. But the Jetta is in another league.

Any advice most welcome, cheers!

Drive all the models,and then deceide.
The Jetta range is awesome,as you say in a diffirent league to the Magna.
