VIC Next Newb!

Hi All,

Returning to the VW fold after a 11 year sabbatical.

Had a Black Mk3 VR6 in the mid to late 90's - twas my pride and joy and tracked it a few times through the VW Vic Club.

Just purchased a Tornado Red MK6 GTI for the fiance. Must admit I coaxed her towards the decision with the hope that I'll be able to snaffle the keys a couple of times and get out to some of the events! Love it so far. Soo good to be back in a well built quality car.
On the the sunnier days I can be seen out making a nusance of myself in my Elfin Ms8.

Is there an Official "Watercooled" Club in Vic?

Hopefully will see some people round the traps.

Cheers - yeah tis a awesome toy. Toy being the operative word - its not the most practical car in the world! The GTI will no doubt help fill that void though. Am actually looking forward to see what it can do at the track. Heard some great things about the GTI.
