QLD 118TSI/Evo Owner

Hello All,

Have been trolling around these forums for a few months, but never bothered to register until now.

Currently own a 2003 Evolution 8 Lancer, as well a 118TSI DSG Golf as my work vehicle.

Have been well impressed with the Golf's ability as a small little twincharger engine, and although its nowhere near as quick as the Evo, its quite a good car in its own right.

Been so impressed to the point where I'm considering trading in the Evo on a new MK6 GTI. I've been against getting anything FWD turbo in the past, however for the price point, its hard to look past a GTI.

Have also been considering a R36 Passat Sedan, however time will tell if I can manage to afford it

hi mate welcome to the forum. i took my very first golf for a spin the other day when i had my polo serviced. was quite impressed myself. still yet to try an evo though (drools). from a price standing point though the golf gti isnt to bad for what you get and they can be fun to drive. the new golf r coming out should be interesting 2.0lt awd turbo.
