  • WA Greetings all

    Hi Folks,

My wife and I bought a TDi Octavia wagon two and a bit years ago (2nd week of perths skoda dealership opening). It's the best car choice we've made.

Only hiccup we've had was an ESP switch fault, which turned the dash into a christmas tree of lights. The VW techies whipped out the switch, replaced with a new one and were back on the road.

    Absolutely love the car.

      Thanks Gareth_oau,

No mod planned except some 17" alloys, something along the lines of the audi s3 mags. The factory 15's are too boring.

        hmmm, sounds interesting.

Ive got S3 rims (very surprisingly on my S3!!) and I'm looking to upgrade in the next 6-12 months).

Mebbe we should talk some more?

very interesting indeed....could be fortuitous for us both.

My tires will need replacing within the next year and i was planning to switch alloys at the same time

start cruising ebay.co.uk theyve got a great wheel selector process where you can enter your desired rim size, PCD and offset and it will list the 100s of wheels which will fit.

A non-OEM you'd be up for around £350, plus £200 for shipping, so no duties and GSt on arrival here.

Similarly look on ebay.com or tirerack.com and expect shipping to be around USD150

                  Ta gareth,

It was tirerack that got me started looking at rims, i'll scope ebay uk next.
