Hey all. So stoked to see an Australian golf club ! At the moment I'm looking towards upgrading from my piece of poo hack r31 to a mk3 golf.
But I'm a bit undecided as towards which motor configuration and model to get..quite fond of finding a clean gti, the vr6 puts me off a bit with it's heavy fuel consumption.
I'm also a bit muddled when it comes to the models of the mk3...as in all the GL's etc. Which motors/series are the goods ? Tried to do a search but couldn't find much..if someone could lay down the basics or point me in the right direction to find some info about all the different models that would be great, cheers !
