Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW OOOOK.. Ordered the Mk5 GTI!!

    Hi Guys,

    Just wanted to join this awesome forum for its awesomeness !! I have ordered my Golf GTi mk6 in november and my "estimated" delivery date aint till April. I wont hold my breathe if I will be getting it at that time, ive read that i may not actually recieve it till mid may.. Good to as i should be back from NZ then ! LOL..

    All in all i have been waiting over 5 years for this car.. I was going to buy the mk 5 but i noticed that the Sat nav deck did not allow to play any mp3's. Now i wasnt going to pay over 45k for a car that did not play mp3's. Whilst looking around i heard there will be a new version, so i waited.. then waited .. then waited again.. and FINALY its here !!..

    So cheers guys to the New Golf GTI !!
