Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Greetz Peoples, Thought i would finally post something after all this time being a member and not saying a word. As the title says I'm from Wodonga and I own a Red 2008 VW Polo GTi and have owned it for 2 years now and love it. Always up for a cruise but being on the border don't know if any happen around here. Anyway car is stock apart from Tint and Subs in boot. Once I get the cash I will be chipping and working on other things.

    Anyway some pics:

Just wondering also any members on the border?

Welcome mate. I was living down there for 18 months while at trade school...Lived just near the Birra. Love the proximity to some of the best driving roads in Australia.

          Welcome.

          Nice photography.

Plenty of Potential in the Pog, a rear sway would be a great place just to get some more traction while you save for the chip.

For me, lowering was a must, but not sure if the roads around you would make the ride really rough.

Plenty to read, feel free to ask qns in the polo thread or anywhere else.

Cheers for the comment on my photography, I dabble here and there with photography, mainly cars but will do landscapes, scenery and animals when I can.

I got a list as long as my arm of mods I want to do just getting the money together is the fun part.
