1st Post - Golf mk1

Hi, Im a 17 year old thats lived in Aus for just over 3 Years. Born in Bulgaria,Europe then moved to South Africa for 10 years, where i learned VERY MUCH about golf mk1's and have a huge passion for them.

Drove all the way from Mel-Sydney to get my mk1 Ls 2 door. have been restoring it since and is a daily driver. Planning on putting a new engine in and thats why i have joined to gain a bit more info on where to get what.

looking forward to being apart of a VW etc club

I actually do have a few from waht it was bought to what it is now.

although to be honest i have no idea how to upload them, i got told photobucket or

something in perticular? when i find out ill post up some pics.

It has come a long way from what it was and to waht it is now, it currently looks a

slight bit differnt to what the picture is. When i bought it, it came with a full body kit

which i disliked so removed it completely and now just sourcing out a good set of Euro

bumpers. In this pic it jsut has the side skirts which are off already

Ill post more soon. its mostly just been brought back to life and the little problems have

been solved. only mods i'd have to say have been done is the full body kit removed,

complete sound system bucket seat and other things etc. soon to have a new engine.

awesome love it with the singles rounds but still think you should run with the body kit.

not the usual thing but it's a bright orange mk1 golf its already unusual, plus 80s sports styling looks awesome.
