  • Hi Everyone

    Hi All,

I'm a pom, who moved to oz a few years back. I'm the proud owner of a Mk1 Cabriolet that i have just got back from driving 5000kms touring South Aus, Victoria & NSW.

VeeDubs are all great but it's earlier MkI & MkII Golfs that do it for me. Also Sirocco's rock!

Look forward to getting to know a few of you!!

    Cheers,

    Ed

Hell yeah!! SA was good for speed but boring roads, long straights and flat. Except for the Barosa, had a good race through there with a V8 holden!

The great ocean road, otway national park and the great alpine way was where it really came to life! I'd say i used half my tyres life in a few hours on those stretches!

Not too many photos of the veedub in action, only set up next to the campsites! I'll try and up load some later!

If matthew from Camden GTI's out there, thanks for the alternator she did me well!

        Cheers for the posts guys!
