Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Yep. One of the best in the biz. Good prices and good service (if you're a bloke!).

Volkspower are the only people I go to. Great service, top notch advice and parts.

Volkwerke also provide a great service too!

Taken my dubs to both places and have been happy with results everytime!

I've seen the kit, it looks okaaaay I guess.

MK4s look pretty fat with the right drop and offset. I wouldn't put extra bodywork on mine. Plus it's $2000 for the kit BEFORE shipping and painting. Scary.

The Golf 337 / 20th anniversary kit is cheaper and looks pretty tight too. Here's a silver three door GTI 337 for you:

            Happy dubbing

Yeah the kit is basically what i want, except i would modify the front and rear bar to how i want it (ive been playing around with fibreglassing lately and think im up to the challenge) but than again i got a qoute for the wheels and kit with doorstep delivery. gona roll out to 10k, so im thinking i hold on the aesthetics and take a few smaller steps first
