Hi All...

I stumbled across this forum looking for info on taking "soft roaders" on the soft sand.

I havent purchased one yet but am interested in the Tiguan.
I want to make sure that it is capable of going onto the soft sand like that at the Goolwa Beach/Murray Mouth stretch here in SA.

Welcome aboard mate.

There is a bit of info in the Tig section on sand driving. I have not tried yet as I want a proper 4x4 nearby to putt me out if I do get stuck. I want to test it soon though. I guess it just depends on how soft and loose the sand you speak of is. In the last shootout I read the Suzuki Grand Vitara seemed to be the only one capable of easily handling sand. *shrug*
