Greetings to all, my name is Brian and recently I took possession of a 6 month old white 118 TSI DSG - no mods or upgrades, but I plan to change that in the near future.
Plans include:
Tint
APR stage 1
Lowered with coil over Bilsteins
19 inch GMAX Monzas (Black or Gold) with Pirrelli P0's
I'll start a thread in the Mark 6 section with pics as I progress.
As a relatively old F*rt but young at heart, my previous rides include:
Holden - 63 EJ, 76 Torana, 78 VL, 2000 SS, 2002 S
Datsun - 74 120Y, 71 240Z, 76 240K, 69 1600 (rally car)
Mazda - 77 808, 72 Capella, 81 626
Ford - 72 Falcon, 79 Cortina (worst car ever made!)
Toyota - 74 Celica
and now the Golf, which so far I'm very happy with, apart from the 1st to second change in drive mode. Much better in sport mode with launch control - can almost keep up with my old 225kW SS
But the APR chip should fix that!
Anyway, glad to be a member and hope to contribute some meaningful posts as time (and my upgrades) progress.
