My Tiguan TDI

I think it has been so long since my last post that I've fallen off the history.

I celebrated my Tiguan's first 6 months with the mandatory service last week. I've now had the car for longer than I waited for it to be built and shipped

Unfortunately since the service my Tiguan's compass reads backwards/upside down. North is South, etc. The Off road pack compass is all new to the guys who serviced the car so no quick fix they want the Tiguan back for 2days to try & undo what they changed, not that they're admitting they broke it, just a coincidence that it worked before the service & not after.

It wouldn't be anything unusual for a dealer to bugger something at service time, getting them to admit their mistake would be another story (as you've discovered) Unfortunately I don't think a lot of the service people have much idea of the workings of a lot of the gadgets VW have as options, but I'm sure they'll sort it out for you once they get the correct information on how to do it.
