Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hey Guys,
    My names Amir.
    I live in Melbourne. I just got the new GTI mk 6 in white a week or two back. I love it! Goes so well and looks and sounds great. I'm planning to chip it and put some bigger rims on it when i get the cash, but until then it'll stay stock.
    Hope to be able to make it to some meets around melbourne and meet some other enthusiasts.

    Welcome aboard Amir,

    lots of info on reflashing and bigger wheels here, so it is easy to do some research before you pay out your $$$.
    2017 MY18 Golf R 7.5 Wolfsburg wagon (boring white) delivered 21 Sep 2017, 2008 Octavia vRS wagon 2.0 TFSI 6M (bright yellow), 2006 T5 Transporter van 2.5 TDI 6M (gone but not forgotten).

      Good choice with the white GTI....just bought one myself I'm in the same boat looking for a reflash and new wheels. I'm not a fan of the stockies.
