been in oz a few months and although i've got no car yet thought i'd join up here and say hello as i'm pretty sure i'll be getting a VAG when i get my own car.

i reckon i may take advantage of the cheap fuel here in oz for the next car and go for a mk3 golf vr6 or maybe and audi a4 2.6.

That 16 valver looks familiar to me, where did you live in the UK?

Juice is pretty cheap but it's all relative. Get settled in before buying a car that's thirsty is my advice.
