My gf jus recently bought a 2000 Golf in the last 2 fortnights, unfortunately it has just come into some troubles mechanically (what bad luck haha). And after many hours of investigation through the internet for basic diagnosis, was able to gain alot of information from this forum

Not much of a poster, but I am looking forward to reading many of your posts and experiences. And hope the love of VW grows when we get the golf back from the vw specialist
