Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    VIC Tiguan Acceleration Noise problem

    Just grab my new Tiguan 125TSI (Silver Leaf) yesterday in Vic.

    When I did a deep acceleration (D3-D4) today, I just hear some grating sound

    from the engine. But when I released the throttle, the noise stopped. Is

    there anyone who has met this problem?

    Welcome mate. A bit of a worry there man. I reckon you'd do well to take her back to your dealer and ask them to check it out. Maybe someone else with a TSI (presumably automatic gearbox?) can help you out. On my TDI auto I don't have this problem.

      i just moved my thread to tiguan's zone.
      Thanks for the suggestion, i have contact with the dealer and wait for the responce now. Hope can get help from other tsi mates.
