Help for a newbie

Hey folks! Great forum.

Am just in the process of finalising my order for a new Golf VI TSI 118.

Have a couple of questions, that the learned members of this forum can no doubt help me with:

1. What would you recommend, the DSG 6 speed or DSG 7 speed?

2. Does anyone know if the bi-xenon or just normal xenon headlights will be available for the non-GTI Golf VI's at any time soon?

3. Anyone had any experience with the VW car alarm system - worth getting or better to go an aftermarket one?

the 118tsi are 7 speed dsg, diesel are 6 speed dsg. hope this helps you decide
