Hi - Just signed for a new gti - build date in 2010. Carbon Steel all options apart from xenon lights. Having second thoughts about the colour - might switch to CW. Also I want to swap the rims, been told can only order the 18" Detroits - really like the R20 Malloys or Visions. I've been told you can't order these from the factory only after market via dealership - any comments.

Better to get the 18s from the factory and then you just have to buy rims and not tyres if u want to change them down the track. The 18's will prob get you around $1000 on ebay too.currrently... MY10 GTI | DSG | Candy White | Sunroof | 18's | BT | MDI

18" rims
Yeah thats what the dealer told me. I've ordered 18" Detroits which I don't really like much - they've offered a $2000 changeover for 18" Visions. What do you reckon, I really like the new R20 rims, but not available in Oz yet. Might add xenons as I reckon I'll regret it later.Comment

Just seen you've ordered the MDI link for your ipod, hope the dealer pointed out you will need to then buy the mdi cable which is an additional $96!!!
Comes with a USB cable but that won't work with your ipod!Stocky
