Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    My rides

    My first watercooled Vw ,plans are Hot tuning coil overs some wide rims and stretched rubber

    My 56 oval all O.G. bought it with 57thou miles on the clock and have done 5thou since owning it...6.5'' narrowed front beam 2.5'' drop spindles 2 and a bit splines in the rear.Ive driven it to Melbourne and back twice (for the Day Of Vw)at 20mm of the deck


    and after a polish back on stockers and running 115/80 temp tyres up front

    and my 58 bug work in progress 2'' eng and trans raise changing the fuchs out for some 7'' cookies out back and some 6'' up front once ive narrowed the beam some more

      Just letting everyone know on here LJ is the king of slamming VW's to with-in an inch of there life then slamming them a bit more!
