its been a while since I had a working vw... but grew up with a '81 south African Golf GTS (it flew but sadly rusted...) and a '74 camper.. I had a 54 oval on late pan and then toyed with beach buggy ownership - however new addition to our family and impending road trip means we are on the lookout for a van - multi or caravelle. so much room compared to our suby...
Anyway - anyone know a good type 4 for sale:
prefer:
Manual, TDI, 5 (good) seats + baby seat mounting point with opening windows in the middle, a tailgate that opens up (not twin doors)..must have air-con, power steering (my wife will be driving),
also towbar/bullbar and roof racks wouldn't go astray! low km prefered
colour doesn't matter!
