Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hi and welcome to the forums.
Glad to see another Tig owenr on here, our numbers are slowly growing.

The TDI's are the majority, white is the best colour in my opinion for the Tig.
What options did you go for and any pics?

There is plenty of tyre related info in teh tiguan section.

      Hello

      Hi Jarrod

Well, I am a new owner of a tiguan... it's on 8 days old!!! I got the R series blue.

They came with Hancook tyres out of the factory. I assume this is what you would've had?

        Hey mate, welcome.

R series Tig? I don't know of this series? Care to elaborate on the differences between it and the standard?

There's a thread in the Tig section about tyres. Seems VW fits whatever they have in stock rather than being brand specific.

I believe he was refering to the Biscay Blue paint of the .:R32 and .:R36.
          Like this:

The actual Tiguan R-Line is available in the UK with color coded plastic bits, all the options and bigger wheels (19" zolder's i believe)
