Hi all,
after changing jobs early this year, I traded a 2008 forester xt premium for a Golf GT sport TDI (leather & RNS510). What a revelation !! couldn't be happier with a car.
The Golf was a little to small for the family, so after several months of searching i found a 2008 Passat TDI 125kW wagon inc leather for my wife. Again couldn't be happier.

However the Passat has brought the tweaker out in me.
I would like to add a RNS510 to match the Golf's and replace the dash trim with a trim that doesn't reflect sunlight.

Any comments and pointers where I can source these goodies appreciated.

Hey Mick,

Welcome aboard!

Don't like you're chances of retro-fitting the RNS510 (i know how good it is) as i think it's a factory only fit. When you can/allowed, post your question up on the Passat thread and someone should be able to give you a more def answer. As for the dash trim, do you mean around the gear knob/selector? or the whole dash? Once again, do a search on dash trim and you should find something to help you.
