QLD jetta fahrenheit 2007 for sale? or keep it

Hi Guys,

I have a question I have a jetta fahrenheit 2007 here in the USA I am moving back home to Brisbane should I keep the car or sell here.

Here are my issues

1. It's left hand drive, need to change it to right hand and where?
2. Parts in Brisbane for it since it looks like they where never imported there.
3. it's only 1.5G to move it.
4. I love the car

Sell it mate, no point in spending all coin on bringing it over and in any case I doubt that you can register a LHD car of that age in QLD....conversion to RHD is not an option, too expensive and difficult....

you can buy the 1.8T Jetta over here, however not in yellow

Hi Dave, if it was me I would import it and keep it LHD as its unique to Australia.

I believe there are some American Import companies in QLD these days perhaps those companies could convert it from LHD to RHD if you wanted.

Whilst its a really cool car. I dont think converting it would be viable. Without converting it you wouldnt be able to register it in most states.

I hadn't ever seen this GLI special - it's like a Jetta GTI Pirelli, only rarer.

What are the unique accessories to this model?

The colour, wheels and interior inserts basically distinguish it from other GLI models.

I would try speaking to a car importer who knows the business inside out. As it is a limited model, you MAY have a SMALL chance of there being a loop hole in the law that allows you to have it as a LHD.

No promises but there are small numbers of LHD cars that are used regularly in Sydney.

Stunning car,would however be much easier to buy a new Jetta 2.0 TSI on your return,and option it up...with leather,sunroof,bigger wheels,and a spoiler.

Also consider the resale value when it comes time to sell up....dont imagine there would be too much demand for a LHD Jetta, no matter if the car is a special edition

OMFG that's the most beautiful Jetta I've ever seen If you can bring it, bring it! Sure you can come here and buy a TFSI but it will in no way have the same appeal as the colour.
