  • New VIC MK4 GTI member WOOO

    hey guys and girls

new member here, completey new to the whole euro scene..just a week ago i picked up my new daily, just a bog stock 01 golf gti..the only reason i got it was because i was after something to get me from A-B without ****ting itself! although having settled into the car now its so bloody slow lol..

i've had old school mazdas previously, i've been building and collecting mitsubishi cordias since 14 lol, yeeeahhhh..dont hurt me..although i've still got a VR4 cordia sitting in the garage which still goes MUCH harder than the golf..

still doing my research on these bad boys and over the coming weeks hope to fit up some go go bits but first on the list are coilovers

hope to meet some of you vic guys in future!

    cheers

Welcome to the forum. Good choice in the Mk 4 GTI. The guys in the mk 4 section are always willing to help should you have a question regarding your car. You are actually pretty close to me, i'm in glen waverley. Be sure to check out the events section for upcoming events in melbourne.

            welcome matey.

yeh your right, the bog stock Mk4 GTI is slow as ****. However luckily for you they are easily tuneable

same as Pete...im all new here. Didnt have as much cash to get the GTI but i got the MK4 2002 SR 1.6 5 speed manual in Black with all the power options and sunroof.
Though its very very economical and so far im very happy with it. Looking to do some mods soon so hopefully i've come to the right place to exchange some ideas and hopefully get some advice.
