Just picked up my new Tiguan TDI this week and absolutely no regrets even after the 4.5 month wait.

As I mentioned I wend for the TDI model, and added in the Satnav/RVC, the sun roof (which brings an amazing amount of light and feeling of space into the car), and comfort pack oh and the dealer through in mats.
