To be honest i was ****ting it a bit because of the size of the calipers and the wheels. But as luck would have it there is a good 10mm clearance. I had a beer for that ! Some of the repro RS4 rims have difference insets on the spokes. So sent a few pics to my man who hooked me up with the kit and we decided they will just fit.. Which they did. JUST

Right now this is all done and working i seriously need to think what to do next. I do know it needs a full repaint. The paints the OG from 1998 which has lasted really really well but there is a bit of rash on the wings and a few serious bird **** stains on the roof ( before i got it)

Found some seats now. Golf GTI's not the Recaro ones.. have been found. thinking sleeper so Recaro's might give the game away... will thats if they haven't spotted the 300 mm discs !!

Engine is gonna stay the same for a bit. Its bloody quick so i haven't gotta worry there. I'm onto a Golf PD150 6 speed speed for it also. just to give it something extra. .. im gonna re detail the engine soon. I need to fab some infill panels. Then some crackle paint i think...

Not into audio so there's nothing to do there.

      Awesome work.
The beetle has a bit of a hairdresser's car status over here so it's refreshing to see a tough, modified version.

Love the red and black contrast with everything.
I personally would have gone for a glossy/darker red on the wheels but that is my opinion.

      Keep up the great work.

ha it is pink... well crimson. It was a bit of a cock up on my part but i ran with it.. wanted red... but really like rocking the pink now.

this is how it looked early this year

1000 miles from home in Austria

and a interior shot... not happy with it yet so .....

oh and this is March this year.... much done since...

                  right on both counts

Audi s3 wheel because of the engine and its lhd in the uk because it was one of the 1st cars in the uk

Actually a personal import from USA but vw did sell the nb as a lhd in the uk for a year before the rhd model was relased.

So there were quite a few lefties sold here

Yes, hence my question related to it being LHD.

Interesting info on the early NBs being sold that way!

There was such a demand they had to do it. Its really unusual for VW to do it but they did.

Haha you're telling us...we have never had the fantastic VW's here, including the Scirocco! We're supposedly meant to get the newest one though...
