'nother newbie from wa!
Driving a white bluefinned mk5 gti but i need to fit a towbar to allow me to tow my racebike (gixxer1000)
I know gti's shouldn't have a towbar but my cars only got 28k's on it and i don't want to change it.
Has anyone else fitted a towie to a gti ?
The stealer wants $1500 and it's a big ugly thing......back in euroland they have a lovely invisible fitting but it's not Oz approved...... !
Any options?

sometime our local laws are very frustrating. the euro ones arent approved here coz a bunch of cardigans got together over some cucumber sandwiches and decided they didnt like the colour.

Hav e you tried to talking to Joe @ Golfwagen (Wangara). Not sure what assistance he could provide, but I am sure it would be better than any dealership.

If Golfballs reads this thread, maybe he will 'pop' the question...as he is Joe's Accounts Clerk Biatch
