Hey guys sorry it has taken a bit for a post back. Been to busy lovin the Bora
I got it here in Canberra 1 owner car with complete VW service history with 100000 on the clock. So not dodgy.
I am planing on keeping it pretty standard. but so far I have put Bosch Aero wipers on her and have gotten some Phillips blue vision bulbs (replacing all the standard globs in the headlights) so i can see at night
Will probably put some coilovers in and get some snazzy wheels in the future, but need to talk the better half into letting me lay down the bucks lol.
So far i am very happy with her and am so glad we made the choice to go VW!

Coilovers aren't for everyone - you'll want to weigh up whether you want the harsher ride they come with over some good quality lowered strut/spring combos (that tend to be cheaper than coilovers as well. I have coilovers, but I have my reasons - just be sure of them before you commit.
Beautiful looking Bora,LOVED those alloys, they were the nicest ones VW ever made IMHO...keep them on.
Gotta say, I like OEM wheels too. My Bora came with the 16" Brands Hatch wheels, they got replaced with VW R-Line 17" wheels (17" version of the Aristos that came on the R32). I'm also eying off a set of Bora Sports (which I think are one of the nicest 17" wheels going around) or a set of Audi S3 wheels (seriously nice)...
