Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi Everybody !

    My name is Martin and I am keen to get an ex Ambulance convert to kamper and head off around the supermarkets.
    I found this site looking for VW Transporter and saw Jimmy doing the same thing so I joined.
    I currently enjoy driving a KIA Sportage '06 after having a CRV sport b4 that. I am impressed but wish it had the Honda auto and suspension.
    I experience what Jimmy has gone thru with part conversion.
    Ambulance has hi roof and just needs a whirly vent(s) not $7,000 popper.And whats wrong with slimline venetians instead of bulky curtains and tracks?
    Fortunately ? I live in Ballina and argue with Frontline alot, but Kimberley Kampers are doing more in The Industrial estate near the airport and Leatherman, so will find out more.
