Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    hey everyone

    originally from near sheffield in the north of england, moved over here in 2003had a t4 work van since i got here with no desire to do any thing at all to it .
    bought a 2004 t5 in dec last year to replace the t4 & we are now lookin for a t5 multivan 4 motion in black or offroad grey.

    Hi Guys

    I also have got the "bug" for a T5 Tdi auto having driven one recently I am set to trade for an ex Ambulance at Govt auction. They have the hi roof and dual aircon . Just need to customize to suit my living conditions to go around Oz with. As I am 6'4 " the 6' bed will not do and I can't live without a 17" laptop satellite TV and toaster, so methanol 24hr generator with 240v inverter.
    Ambitious ? Yep but that is my dream for next 6mths otherwise I implode.

    Whereabouts do you live ?
